About MI-Stories.com

In 2003 Jennifer and John Morrison combined their unique experience, education, and background to create AfterWord Professional Historians, LLC. As we added digital media products such as audio CDs and photo DVDs to our lineup, and because “after word” is more a literary term, in 2006 we changed our name to MI-Stories.com to better reflect our services.

I have a bachelor's degree in creative writing and have written creative nonfiction biographies, screenplays, and short stories. I worked many years in the marketing department of the local public television and radio station doing station writing and event planning and coordination. I coordinated the 2005 annual conference of the Association of Personal Historians in Grand Rapids, and am presently serving on the APH board as the Conference Chair.

“[John] is the consummate professional.  You can trust that he will bring this “it’s got to be great” attitude to every project.”
